About this Event
In this immersive workshop, you will learn about somatic work and why it’s an essential, yet often missing part on our self-development, healing, and growth journey. “Somatic” means “relating to the body”, so somatic work involves movement practices that strengthen the mind-body connection.
In the first part of the workshop, Anna will dive into the importance of nervous system regulation, how different types of movement can help release stored emotions and trauma from the body, and how we can bring together both somatic and mindset practices to accelerate our own transformation.
You will learn powerful tools you can integrate into your daily life to regulate and repattern your nervous system, release what’s no longer serving you, and ultimately create more balance, freedom, connection, and joy in your life.
During the second part, you will experience those tools for yourself as Anna will guide you through a powerful somatic release practice. This practice involves accessing and releasing emotions like anger, sadness, and grief through combining breath, sound, and movement, shaking, screaming, punching a pillow, intuitive dancing, and other intuitive movements and sounds.
(Bring a journal and pen, and wear comfortable clothes to move in!)

About your facilitator:
Anna Bolender is a Certified Holistic Health & Embodiment Coach, dancer, and dance teacher who is passionate about all things wellness, health, and movement. Anna’s mission is to help others create more balance, freedom, and joy in their life and feel more vibrant and energetic through simple practices and rituals that reconnect them with their body, intuition, and purpose.
Bringing together both mindfulness and somatic practices, Anna supports people in establishing simple, daily habits & rituals that enable them to unlock their full potential and reach their individual goals for optimal well-being.
Born and raised in Germany, Anna’s love for movement started with Rhythmic Gymnastics when she was seven years old. Since then, she has trained in various other dance styles and forms of movement. She is a dance teacher at Rae Studios, and a professional dancer signed with Rae Agency.
