About this Event
WHAT'S IT ABOUT?
The mission of the club is to discover and grow the SF Zentangle community and learn from each other.
WHO IS IT FOR?
If you enjoy creating Zentangle® art or Zentangle-inspired art and have wanted to share your hobby with like-minded folks in person, we'd love to see you at this SF Zentangle Club meetup.
CZTs, tanging enthusiasts, and novice tanglers ages 15 and up are welcome. The only requirement is to have taken an introductory Zentangle class or equivalent experience, since there is no formal instruction at club meetings.
WHAT WILL WE DO?
At our 2.5-hour get-together, we'll have time for introductions, drawing a tile together, show and tell of our recent favorite works, and sharing tips for drawing or teaching classes.
Our theme is still TBD, but one idea is to take a break from current events by tangling around a "Keep Calm and Tangle On" template. We could also do a traveling tangle tile swap. Let me know in the comments!
WHERE IS IT?
The meeting room in the Western Addition branch library, 1550 Scott St, San Francisco, CA 94115.
There is typically plenty of street parking around this library on Sundays, and meters are not running. It is also on the 38 Geary MUNI line.
Note that food isn't allowed in the library, so please plan to enjoy any snacks outside the library facility.
WHAT TO BRING?
Please bring your own supplies, at least white tiles or sketch book, pen, pencil, and tortillon. The host will bring a few extras. You're welcome to bring any additional supplies.
Feel free to bring your sketch book, favorite tiles, and other pieces for show and tell.
