About this Event
Are you a tango dancer who wants to enjoy connecting with yourself and connecting with others more deeply? If so, please join Jordana and Miranda for this tango connection playshop. It’s a chance to play, experiment, and explore how we connect with ourselves and with others in tango and in life.
We’ll explore what comes up for us when we embrace ourselves and each other. We’ll investigate the emotional needs, desires, expectations, and habits that color our tango connection, in a compassionate, curious, and mindful environment. We’ll ask ourselves about what’s really going inside ourselves when we come to dance. We’ll invite our creative voices to surprise us with what they want to say.
We will not be learning or memorizing figures or sequences. Because where we’re going, we don’t need figures.
Please leave your fancy shoes and your pretty clothes at home. This is a play-clothes and bare feet (or socks) jam session for experimentation and play.
