About this Event
Thinking about Australia? Start your morning with the people who can help you get there.
The City of Moreton Bay's Deputy Mayor Jodie Shipway is in Christchurch with a business delegation, and she wants to meet Canterbury businesses ready to grow across the ditch.
Moreton Bay sits in the heart of South East Queensland, 20 minutes from Brisbane Airport and 30 minutes from the Port of Brisbane. It's one of Australia's fastest growing regions, with an economy forecast to reach $40 billion by 2041 and a decade of investment building up to the Brisbane 2032 Games. Over 1,100 Kiwi businesses and 21,000 New Zealanders already call it home.
It's also the only Australian council with a trade and investment adviser based permanently in New Zealand. Right here in Christchurch.
