From the Director
Coming out of atheism, it wasn’t emotion or tradition that changed my mind—it was evidence. As I dug deeper into questions about the universe, origins, morality, and history, I discovered that the Christian worldview wasn’t something to be dismissed. It was intellectually robust, philosophically sound, and supported by powerful scientific and historical evidence.
But one thing struck me: most people had never been shown these reasons. Many had honest questions but were met with shallow answers. Others assumed Christianity rested on blind faith, never realizing how strong the case for truth actually is.
That realization is what drove me to make Universe Designed. I wanted to create a film that clearly and creatively presents the evidence that opened my eyes—evidence that points beyond the universe to a Mind, a Designer, and ultimately to the truth of Jesus Christ.
My hope is twofold.
For seekers and skeptics, I want this film to spark curiosity again—to invite them to ask life’s biggest questions and consider that Christianity might not only be reasonable but the best explanation for the reality we live in.
For believers, I pray this film strengthens their confidence by showing that our faith is grounded in truth. Christianity isn’t just comforting—it’s correct. And Scripture calls us to be prepared to explain why. As 1 Peter 3:15 says, we must “always be ready to give a defense for the hope within us,” and do so with gentleness and respect.
My prayer is that Universe Designed does exactly that: challenge, encourage, and inspire both seekers and believers—pointing all of us closer to the truth.
