EXA - Thrash Metal from Berlin
EXA are four guys from Berlin who belong to the new generation of german thrash metal. Making no compromises and having no comparisons, they bring their own style and uniqueness out of east Berlin.
Founded as a school band in 2016, EXA was voted for the first place at the Metal Hammer Newcomer Contest in 2018 with the EP „IGNITE“, which gave them the opportunity to perform at the Metal Hammer Paradise Festival. With the fire this EP started, the band went back to the studio to record the debut album „CUT THE PAST“ which was ranked 9/10 by magazines like DEAF FOREVER, METAL HAMMER and ROCKHARD and gave them the title of „The Testament of a new generation“(LEGACY MAGAZINE).

With their sound, they combine hardcore with influences from beatdown and death

The five-piece band, which was formed at the end of 2023, is known for heavy riffs,
