For women who carry a lot: a focused half-day leadership reset with real conversation, guided reflection, and a clear next step.
About this Event

Description

You're the person people count on. At work. At home. In your circle. You make the decisions, hold the details, and keep everything moving - even when your own capacity is running on empty.

Unfrayed is a focused half-day reset for women leaders, executives, entrepreneurs, and high-performing professionals who are functional but frayed - still delivering, still dependable, and quietly depleted.

This is not a conference. It is not a networking event where you have to make small talk or prove your value. It is a small-group experience for 8-10 women at a private North Scottsdale estate, built around one outcome: you leave with more clarity and capacity than you came with.

Come exactly as you are. You do not need to be "on."

What this half-day gives you
  • Room to step out of the mental swirl and think clearly again, without making small talk or managing anyone else's experience
  • A real conversation with women who understand the weight of being the dependable one
  • Guided reflection to name what is draining your capacity and what needs to change
  • Space to clear your head, reconnect with your own voice, and leave with one meaningful next step
  • A Scottsdale close that fits your session: a quiet intention circle, a private crystal-bowl immersion, or intentional close

Choose your session

Friday, October 16 · 1:30-5:30 PM — From Overload to ClarityStep out of the mental swirl, reset your system, and regain the clarity you need to make decisions with more confidence. Closes with a quiet intention circle on the patio as the desert light changes.

Saturday, October 17 · 9:00 AM–1:00 PM — What Is Yours to Carry?Use guided reflection and structured journaling to identify what is truly yours to lead, what you have been carrying by default, and where clearer boundaries can protect your capacity. Closes with a crystal-bowl sound immersion led by Kristie.

Saturday, October 17 · 2:00-6:00 PM — Lead From a Fuller CapacityTurn insight into an everyday leadership toolkit: simple reset practices, boundary cues, and decision-support tools you can use when work and life become demanding again. Closes with intential close on the patio.

Your experience includes
  • Four unhurried hours in an intimate group of just 8–10 women
  • Expertly guided conversation and reflection, no pressure to share, no need to have it all figured out
  • A beautiful journal and prompts to help you hear yourself again
  • Light refreshments and space to truly settle in
  • A simple reset ritual to take home and use when life gets loud
  • A credit toward a future Root & Rise retreat or coaching experience, should you want to continue the work

The setting

Gather at a private North Scottsdale estate designed for slowing down—shaded patios, quiet corners, desert light, and room to simply breathe. The exact address will be shared with registered guests.

Good to know
  • Please arrive 15 minutes early so you can settle in before we begin.
  • Wear whatever helps you feel comfortable. Bring water and a light layer for the indoor/outdoor setting.
  • Rideshare is encouraged; driveway parking is limited.
  • You are never required to share. Participate in the way that feels right for you.
  • Unfrayed is a facilitated personal and professional development experience. It is not therapy, medical care, or a substitute for either.

You'll leave with more than a nice afternoon
  • A nervous-system reset practice you can use in the moment, the next time work follows you home
  • Words for what you have been carrying - named on paper, so it stops running the background
  • One meaningful next step you chose, not one someone assigned you
  • A journal with your own thinking in it - yours to keep
  • A 20-minute private integration call within two weeks of your session, to help the reset stick

How your reset unfolds
Friday, October 16 · Golden-Hour Reset (1:30–5:30 PM)
  • 1:30 PM — Arrive and settle in: Come in, get comfortable, and let the pace of the day begin to soften.
  • 2:00 PM — Make space to breathe: A gentle guided practice to help you step out of work mode and arrive fully.
  • 3:00 PM — The conversation you rarely get to have: An honest, facilitated conversation about the invisible weight of being the one others rely on. No fixing. No pressure to have the right words.
  • 4:15 PM — Clear some room: Guided journaling and reflection to help you sort through what is asking for your attention—and what you may be ready to set down.
  • 4:45 PM — Golden-hour close: Gather on the patio for a quiet intention circle as the desert light changes.
