Understanding the legalities of Life Writing

Unlike fictional stories, life writing explores real people's lives. And that means we need to understand the key legal considerations which can land writers in court if they're not careful. Guided by Patricia Sutcliffe, this is an important week to attend -- and will be far less dry than you might think.

The course blends teaching with audience participation through the use of examples and exercises. A stand-alone course that is part of the four week Life Writing Fundamentals course, which is designed to ensure writers gain confidence and the momentum to put pen to paper.
