Understanding Self Compassion – Adult Workshop / Support Group
Understanding Self Compassion is a therapeutic group program designed for people aged over 18 who are supporting a loved one with a mental health challenge
This workshop provides a safe, welcoming and confidential space for carers to connect with others who understand the realities of supporting a loved one with a mental health challenge. Facilitated by experienced Helping Minds staff, the group focuses on connection, emotional support, shared understanding and practical wellbeing strategies.
Participants will have the opportunity to:
- Share experiences and concerns in a supportive and non-judgemental environment
- Connect with other Mental Health Carers who understand the carer journey
- Build confidence, resilience and emotional wellbeing
- Learn about resources, services and supports available to carers
- Enjoy light refreshments while building meaningful connections
This group is therapeutic, offering emotional support and education. It is not a clinical or counselling service.
