Understanding Psychosis – Making Sense of Our Experiences
Psychosis can change how we experience and make sense of ourselves and the world around us — and those experiences can look very different from person to person.
Join Davinia Faapoi and Edith Moore for a Recovery College workshop exploring psychosis in an accessible, supportive space.
Together, we’ll explore:
• What psychosis is and how it can show up
• What may contribute to psychosis
• Early signs that things may be changing
• Different ways people understand and make sense of their experiences
• Practical things that can support recovery and wellbeing
This workshop is for people who have experienced psychosis, as well as whānau, supporters and others who want to understand psychosis better.
There is no pressure to share your own experiences. You can take part in whatever way feels comfortable — listening is participating.
