The Carbon Chamber & Economic Development Corporation (CCEDC), proud partner of the Greater Lehigh Valley Chamber of Commerce, invites the business community to join us for the final installment of our 2026 Economic Development Series. This session will feature Alicia Miller Karner, Director of the Lehigh Valley Regional Office for BusinessPA, who will provide an overview of the Commonwealth’s economic development strategy and how Pennsylvania works to attract and support business investment.
Attendees will learn about Pennsylvania’s priority industry sectors, statewide growth goals, and why companies continue to choose Pennsylvania for expansion. Alicia will also share insights into BusinessPA, including how the team assists manufacturers and growing companies with site selection, permitting coordination, and incentive programs such as grants, loans, and tax credits.
While BusinessPA primarily works with manufacturing companies undertaking expansion projects that involve job creation and capital investment, this presentation promises to offer valuable perspective for business leaders, economic development partners, and community stakeholders interested in understanding how Pennsylvania supports business growth and regional economic development.
