Join our own Matt Wildman (assistant manager of the Chill Department) for an informative and entertaining presentation about cat behavior. Learn why cats are not, in fact, enigmas, along with why behavior issues arise and how to resolve them. Matt will also discuss an exciting volunteer opportunity for anyone who loves helping cats and people. And bring your questions!
Matt is a cat behaviorist with over 15 years of experience, including as the resident cat behavior expert at Humane World for Animals(formerly the Humane Society of the United States) where he created the Guide to Cat Behavior Counseling and a Cat Behavior Counseling Course, in addition to training hundreds of animal sheltering staff and volunteers. Most recently, he launched the National Cat Behavior Helpline, a free, phone-based resource for any cat owner in need.
