About this Event
Burnout is often misunderstood as simply being "too stressed" or needing a holiday. In reality, burnout is a complex state that develops when the demands placed upon the brain, body, and nervous system consistently exceed our capacity to recover.
In this engaging, evidence-informed workshop, Elena Vlad explores burnout through the lens of neuroscience, psychology, and nervous system regulation. Rather than focusing solely on symptoms, participants will gain a deeper understanding of why burnout develops, how chronic stress changes the way we think, feel, and behave, and what supports genuine, sustainable recovery.
Throughout the workshop, complex science is translated into clear, practical concepts using relatable stories, visual explanations, and interactive discussions.
The workshop also includes practical regulation techniques that can be applied immediately, helping participants recognise early warning signs, restore capacity, and build habits that protect long-term wellbeing.
