Participants will learn how to recognize common and less obvious OCD presentations, identify obsessions, compulsions, avoidance, reassurance-seeking, and accommodation, and understand the cycle that maintains OCD. The training will introduce the core principles of ERP and demonstrate how clinicians can begin conceptualizing OCD cases and identifying appropriate exposure and response-prevention targets. Clinical examples will be used to explore assessment, treatment planning, family and partner accommodation, common therapist pitfalls, and when specialized consultation or referral may be appropriate.
