Underneath the LintelA 113-year overdue library book. A pair of trousers, unclaimed at a London laundry. A Bonn tram ticket from 1912.
From these scattered fragments, someone’s whole world can tilt off its axis. These are the clues that send an eccentric librarian off on a worldwide chase, guided only by scraps of evidence pulled from her battered suitcase. Each clue is stranger, older, and more intriguing than the last.
As she unravels the trail, the boundaries between fact and myth begin to blur. Who,or what, is she really pursuing? And do the answers touch on the divine, or only on her own broken history?
Part detective story, part spiritual puzzle, part confession, Underneath the Lintel invites audiences into a world where chasing shadows sheds light in some truly unexpected places. Step inside, follow the evidence, and let the mystery take hold.
