Our Open Days are a great opportunity to find out about studying with us from the people who know it best: our staff and students. You will have the opportunity to attend inspiring subject and service talks, sample lectures, and tours, as well as information desks with staff ready to answer your questions about studying at the University of Edinburgh.
A booking is required for all our Open Days in 2026, and booking is now open for our University-wide Open Days in June.

You should also reserve a space at talks, sample lectures, labs and subject area tours when booking.
For many activities, we expect that you will be able to bring an accompanying guest, but this will depend on booking numbers. Prospective students will always be given priority.
The programme is the same on both dates, except for Medicine, Veterinary Medicine and HCP-Med. On 24 October, they will be represented at our Central campus with very limited activities offered.
