Join us as Belgian-based, Greek-Ghanaian circus artist Malkom Georgoulis visits to host an exclusive 120-minute intensive!Malkom is a 2026 graduate of the prestigious École Supérieure des Arts du Cirque (ESAC) in Brussels, specializing in aerial hoop (lyra). His artistic expression is defined by breaking away from traditional patterns and exploring dynamic, unexpected movement pathways through the air.
This workshop focuses on speed, continuous rotation, and dynamic momentum—tools you can use to unlock entirely new forms of aerial expression.
What We Will Cover:
Dynamic Momentum: Learn to harness body weight and flow to execute powerful, seamless transitions.
Spin Control: Master techniques for accelerating, controlling, and navigating rotation in the air.
Unconventional Pathways: Break away from classic entries and poses to discover unique lines and shapes on the hoop

About the Instructor:
Malkom Georgoulis is a Greek-Ghanaian performer based in Belgium. His journey in aerial arts began in 2019 with aerial silks, which eventually led him to Brussels and studies at ESAC, graduating in 2026 with aerial hoop as his main discipline. Malkom’s practice centers around challenging traditional norms and discovering fresh visual and physical pathways in the air.
