A women's evening of archetypal exploration, embodied release & reclamation.
About this Event

What are you ready to release—and what are you ready to reclaim?

You can understand a pattern and still find yourself living inside it.

You can know that an expectation, role, story, or way of being is no longer quite true—and still feel its weight.

UNBOUND is a two-hour immersive women’s experience for exploring what you have learned to carry, what it has been doing for you, and what you may be ready to relate to differently now.

Led by Dr. Sica Leigh, the evening brings together archetypal reflection, guided shadow dialogue, ritual, Somatic Embodiment & Regulation, Reiki, and grounded integration.

This is not about fighting the version of you who adapted.

It is about contact rather than conquest: seeing what is actually present, understanding it, and making a more conscious choice about what comes forward with you.

The evening moves through:

Recognize → Explore → Release & Reclaim → Move → Receive & Settle → Integrate

What you’ll experience

Archetypal exploration
Using imagery from The Women of Myth Oracle Deck, we’ll explore symbolism, qualities, and associations as prompts for reflection—not prediction. You decide what resonates and what does not.

Guided shadow dialogue
You’ll explore one manageable pattern, expectation, quality, inner part, or earlier version of yourself. Rather than trying to eliminate it, we’ll ask what it has protected, what it wants understood, and whether a different relationship is possible now.

Cord-cutting & reclamation
You’ll identify something that may no longer be yours to carry—a story, expectation, role, obligation, or pattern—and something you want to reclaim in its place.

The ritual is not necessarily about severing a person or relationship. It is about distinguishing what is actually yours from what has become attached to you, then making that distinction tangible through binding, cutting, opening, and receiving. The physical reclamation ritual is already part of the established UNBOUND design.

Somatic Embodiment & Regulation
Through guided movement, stretching, shaking, and body awareness, you’ll have an opportunity to move the exploration beyond the purely intellectual. Gentler, seated, observational, and rest options are always available.

Reiki & energetic integration
The evening then moves into a quieter period of energetic balancing and Reiki. Touch is never required.

Integration
We’ll close by asking what the experience means in actual life:

What do you want to carry forward—and what would honoring that look like once you leave the room?

The goal is not to manufacture a breakthrough.

It is to leave with a clearer relationship to something you have been carrying, something you are reclaiming, and what comes next.

You may feel especially at home at UNBOUND if…

You are used to being capable.

Maybe you are the responsible one, the caretaker, the problem-solver, the accommodating one, or simply someone who has gotten very good at adapting.

And lately you have begun asking:

Which parts of this are actually mine?

Which parts once served me but no longer need to run the whole system?

What do I want more contact with now?

That might mean voice, confidence, rest, creativity, pleasure, discernment, boundaries, or permission.

You do not need to know the answer before you arrive.

A few important things

No previous experience with oracle cards, Reiki, meditation, shadow work, somatic practice, or ritual is required.

Sharing is optional. Participation is invitational. You may modify, observe, rest, decline, or pass at any point.

UNBOUND is an educational and experiential gathering. It is not group psychotherapy, psychic diagnosis, or fortune-telling.

Your ticket includes the complete two-hour facilitated experience, workshop and ritual materials, refreshments, and a personal reclamation take-home piece.

About the work

Dr. Sica Leigh is a Doctor of Acupuncture and Chinese Medicine, nationally board-certified Diplomate of Oriental Medicine, educator, founder of The AXIS Method™, and director of the Midwestern Center for Parapsychological Studies.

Her work asks what becomes possible when human growth, healing, and change are organized through contact rather than conquest.

The AXIS Method™ is a relationship-based framework for working with complex human systems.

Through Calibration, Coherence, Contact, and Continuity, AXIS helps practitioners and individuals understand what is actually present, what belongs together, what is governing the pattern, and what response is most congruent now. The framework operates relationally across the practitioner-person encounter and the wider system of body, identity, perception, environment, meaning, relationships, and choice. Its purpose is not to force change onto a system, but to establish right relationship so appropriate change can emerge. The existing AXIS material already defines it as a framework for relationship rather than merely a framework for change.

The Midwestern Center for Parapsychological Studies (MCPS) exists because extraordinary human experiences are often pushed toward one of two extremes: reflexive dismissal or ungrounded certainty.

MCPS offers a third path: disciplined, humane inquiry.

Open without being credulous. Skeptical without being dismissive.

Its work includes consciousness, intuition, psi, mystical and anomalous experience, dreams, synchronicity, symbolism, meaning-making, and Relational Parapsychology™.

Relational Parapsychology™ extends the same emphasis on right relationship into extraordinary experience—considering not only what happened, but the experiencer, the practitioner or interpreter, the surrounding context, the meaning made from it, and the agency carried forward.

UNBOUND brings these worlds together: AXIS provides the relational framework; MCPS opens the field of symbolic, intuitive, archetypal, and extraordinary experience.
