Understanding maternal and newborn warning signs, including serious bleeding, hypertensive emergencies, infections, and newborn breathing concerns.
🏥 Emergency Preparedness
When to seek immediate medical help, what information emergency responders need, and how to prepare a hospital transfer plan.
👶 Birth & Postpartum Considerations
Understanding normal birth processes, potential complications, and the importance of postpartum and newborn assessments.
📝 Creating Your Birth Contingency Plan
You'll work through a practical worksheet to identify emergency contacts, transportation, support-person responsibilities, and medical resources.
