We’ll start our adventure with one of the top bucket list hikes in the world — Angels Landing in Zion National Park! Known for its dramatic 1,500-foot cliffs and heart-pounding switchbacks, Angels Landing is a must-do adventure for thrill-seekers and nature lovers alike. From the summit, you’ll be rewarded with jaw-dropping panoramic views of Zion Canyon’s 270-million-year-old rock formations.
⛰️ This hike is challenging, unforgettable, and not for the faint of heart.
Part 2: The Adventure of Kanarra Falls
On December 6th, we’ll switch gears for the stunning Kanarra Falls! Experience the magic of walking through a vibrant slot canyon while navigating a shallow, flowing river. The highlight is the unique, rustic ladder that leads you up and over the falls deeper into the canyon. This is a wet, photogenic, and exhilarating hike that perfectly complements the heights of Zion!

Angels Landing Permits (Dec 4 or 5):
I have secured permits for 5 hikers to summit Angels Landing. I’ll do my best to obtain additional permits, but space is not guaranteed. Hikers who do not have a permit will hike to Scout Lookout, the breathtaking halfway point.
Kanarra Falls Permits (Dec 6):

These permits are required by the city of Kanarraville and they will sell out. You MUST purchase your permit for December 6th directly from the official Kanarra Falls website as soon as you are confirmed for this trip. Do not wait!

❌ No beginners (This is a physically demanding weekend)
❌ No dogs
❌ No kids (unless supervised by parents or i know you personally)
❌ Not for anyone afraid of heights (for Angels Landing)
❌ No guests (only approved participants allowed)
🚫 Everyone is added to the waiting list by default and confirmed based on commitment and payment.
🧗♂️ Hike Details:
Day 1 (Dec 4 or 5): Angels Landing, Zion National Park
Distance: 4.5 miles (round trip)
Elevation Gain: 1,827 feet
Estimated Hiking Time: ~5 hours (including photo breaks)
Difficulty: Moderate to strenuous
Day 2 (Dec 6): Kanarra Falls, Kanarraville
Distance: ~3.8 miles (round trip)
Elevation Gain: ~600 feet
Estimated Hiking Time: ~3-4 hours (expect a slower pace through water)
Difficulty: Moderate (This is a wet hike; you will be walking in water)
General Logistics:
Drive Time: Both hikes are approx. 2.5 - 3 hours from Las Vegas (Note: Utah is +1 hour ahead)
Weather: Will be checked the day before each hike. Be prepared for cold temperatures, especially at Kanarra Falls.
🎒 What to Bring:
IMPORTANT FOR KANARRA FALLS: Neoprene socks and water shoes/sandals with good grip for the river. Your feet will be in cold water the entire time.
National Park Pass (if you have one, for Zion)
Your Kanarra Falls permit confirmation (printed or on phone)

Hat, sunglasses, sunscreen
At least 2 liters of water for every Hike we go
Sturdy hiking shoes with ankle support and good grip (needed for Angels Landing)
Socks (including neoprene for Kanarra)
2 walking sticks/hiking poles (Highly recommended for both stability on Angels and river crossing in Kanarra)
Change of clothes for after both hikes
Camera or phone for epic photos (waterproof case/bag for Kanarra is smart!)

We’ll arrange carpools from there.
If you're new or unsure about directions, please arrive early. If you're late, you'll be left behind — no exceptions.

We keep a steady, moderate pace and support each other throughout the hike. This is a physically demanding but incredibly rewarding experience.
