About this Event
Join the UK–Uganda Metals and Mining Investment Dialogue, a focused sector programme within the UK–Africa Investment Summit 2026, taking place in London on Friday, 11 September 2026.
This dialogue will bring together investors, government agencies, mining companies, financiers, project sponsors, technical specialists, ESG advisers, infrastructure providers and industrial partners to examine how Uganda can move from mineral potential to bankable industrial value.
The UK–Uganda Metals and Mining Investment Dialogue is a dedicated sector programme of the UK–Africa Investment Summit 2026, the UK’s longest-running annual UK–Africa trade and investment platform, established in 2010.
Taking place on Friday, 11 September 2026 at The Royal Horseguards Hotel & One Whitehall Place, London, this focused dialogue will connect Uganda’s mining and mineral value-addition opportunity with UK capital, project finance, responsible sourcing expertise, engineering capability, legal structuring, equipment, technology and long-term commercial partnerships.
The programme is designed for serious stakeholders working across mining, critical minerals, beneficiation, infrastructure, ESG, finance and industrial development.
Uganda enters this investment cycle with significant potential across rare earths, graphite, copper, cobalt, nickel, gold, iron ore, limestone, wolfram, zinc, glass sand, vermiculite and other industrial minerals.
The central question is no longer whether Uganda has mineral potential. The real question is whether projects can move into financeable, compliant, infrastructure-linked processing platforms with credible routes to export, domestic value addition and industrial scale.
This dialogue is built for that conversation.
The UK–Uganda Metals and Mining Investment Dialogue is not a separate event from the main summit.
It is a sector programme within the UK–Africa Investment Summit 2026. Delegates should register for UKAIS 2026 to access the summit and participate in relevant sector sessions, subject to programme access, capacity and ticket category.
