About this Event
The UK Black Comms Network x The Independent present: An Evening With Symeon Brown, Channel 4 News Home Affairs correspondent and author of The Good, the Black and the Boujee: How Black Britain Became Middle Class.
Symeon spent years researching the book, building the largest known data study of Britain's Black middle class and elite. What he found raises questions a lot of us already ask in private. How did so many Black Britons make it into the country's most visible industries? Why do so many still say it feels harder than ever to get to the top? And what does a growing Black middle class mean for the people who aren't part of it?
Join us for an intimate conversation, then ask your own questions in an open audience Q&A.
