Flagler Meet & Eat is an opportunity for registered CARD adults to continue building social skills, practicing independence, and developing confidence while participating in a community dining experience. During each event, participants will be responsible for ordering their own food, making requests, paying for their meal, and socializing with others. The goal is to provide a supportive environment where adults can practice important everyday skills while enjoying time together in the community. CARD staff will be available on-site to provide support as needed. Parents or transportation providers must be present and remain on site during Flagler Meet & Eat unless the adult participant is responsible for their own transportation and is attending independently. While the group is in session, parents are welcome to use this time to connect with other parents, socialize, and enjoy themselves.
