The Union County Deputy Dash 5K Trail Run is returning on November 14, 2026, at 8:30 a.m. at The Simpson Event Center, and we can’t wait to welcome runners back for this meaningful and exciting event.Registration opens on February 15 with a one-week early bird price of just $25, so be sure to sign up early and secure your spot. The Deputy Dash 5K is a fundraiser benefiting the UCSO Foundation, which supports community events such as our Trunk or Treat and Child Safety Fair and the Senior Fraud Awareness Luncheon.

This year’s race will proudly honor Sgt. Jeff Greene, who was killed in the line of duty on November 19, 2014. We invite the community to run in remembrance and help us continue his legacy of service.
Each participant will receive an event t-shirt, a finisher medal, and UCSO swag. Also, the oppoutunity to purchase an exclusive event challenge coin. Awards will be presented to the top three male and female finishers in each age group. Sponsorship and vendor opportunities are also available for those interested in supporting this event.
