About this Event
The evening will feature a structured, small-group networking activity where alumni will have an opportunity to meet with about 15-20 UC Excelerator students, allowing for meaningful conversations and opportunities to answer questions about your professional experiences. Rather than a formal panel, this event is designed to foster authentic dialogue, mentorship, and community in a welcoming and conversational environment.
UC Excelerator is an initiative that expands access to professional education for adults who have faced barriers to continuing their education, including financial hardship, social or systemic barriers, and other life challenges. Through the , students receive scholarships to pursue career-focused professional certificates, along with academic advising and professional development opportunities that support their educational and career success.
UC Excelerator scholarship recipients are ambitious adult learners who are working toward careers in:

- Nursing
