West Coast Swing is a smooth, modern partner dance known for its creativity, musicality, and versatility. Danced to everything from blues and pop to R&B, funk, and contemporary music, WCS is playful, expressive, and deeply connected — making it one of the most adaptable and social partner dances out there.

✨ Meet Your Hosts ✨
? Shantala Davis (aka ShantiMonster)
Shantala Davis is a highly decorated partner dance professional who spent over a decade competing, teaching, and performing internationally across the West Coast Swing and Fusion dance circuits. She now runs her own West Coast Swing school in Grass Valley, CA, offering weekly classes, private lessons, and community dance events rooted in connection, skill-building, and joy.
? Tzoul Shine
Tzoul discovered partner dancing in 2008 through the Blues dance community. His studies led him into what he calls the “Fab Five”: Zouk, Kizomba, Salsa, Bachata, and West Coast Swing. He currently teaches weekly classes in Nevada City, CA, sharing his passion for movement, musicality, and connection through dance.
