If that’s not enough to make this feller interesting, how about the fact that he was featured in the genre-expanding movie, “Oh, Brother, Where Art Thou,” or that his songs were covered by the likes of Sam Bush and John Cowan?
Thomm Jutz is an immigrant from Germany. In his twenty-five years in Nashville, he has put in his time on the road with folks like Nanci Griffith and Mary Gauthier. His songs have been recorded by John Prine, Billy Strings, and many other artists who gather around the warm wood stove of Americana music. In 2020 he was nominated for a Grammy® in the Best Bluegrass Album category.
