In this hands-on workshop, you'll explore the centuries-old technique of creating delicate cast glass from finely ground glass powder.
About this Event

Glass powders are mixed with a binder to create a paste, which is then packed into a mold and placed into a kiln for firing. During this class, you'll create a charming glass vanity box with a fitted lid. Prefer curves over corners? No problem—you can choose a square or round box, giving your finished piece a personal touch.

Day two is all about the finishing touches! We'll carefully demold your pâte de verre piece and explore a variety of cold-working techniques to refine the edges, smooth surfaces, and add the perfect finishing details. You'll learn simple methods that will make your vanity box look beautifully finished—and maximum cute, but not polished! By the end of the workshop, you'll leave with a one-of-a-kind handcrafted keepsake that's ready to display, gift, or treasure for

years to come.
