Two days to slow things down, build a better foundation and put the fundamentals of good horsemanship into practice. Our 2 Day Horsemanship Clinics are designed around the skills that create a confident, willing and trainable horse and a rider who understands how to communicate clearly, troubleshoot problems and continue progressing independently.
Rather than chasing quick fixes or fancy manoeuvres, we’ll focus on the fundamentals that everything else is built on.
WHAT TO EXPECT
Groundwork & handling-
Developing communication, softness, responsiveness and a better understanding of your horse from the ground through purposeful exercises that can also translate into ridden work.
Feel, timing & communication-
Learning how your timing, feel and release influence your horse’s responses and how small changes can make a big difference.
Riding fundamentals-
Working on balance, body control, softness, our body position and the basics that make everything else easier.
Problem solving-
Learn how to recognise what your horse is telling you, break problems down and work through them rather than simply riding through them.
Building confidence-
Helping both horse and rider become more confident, thoughtful and adaptable in different situations.
Practical application-
You won’t just be shown what to do..
we want you to understand the why behind it and develop the tools to continue working on it when you get home.
WHO IS IT FOR?
Our clinics are open to riders of different experience levels and horses at different stages of their education.
Whether you’re starting out, feeling stuck, bringing along a young horse, rebuilding your foundations or simply wanting to refine your existing skills, there is something to take away.
The goal isn’t for everyone to leave doing the same thing.
It’s for you to leave with a better understanding of your horse, yourself and the fundamentals that create a successful and enjoyable partnership.
Our purpose is simple:
Preparing horses and people for a lifetime of success.
We want to give you practical skills you can take home and continue developing long after the clinic is finished.
Two days. Good horses. Good people. Good horsemanship.
Come back to the fundamentals and see what they can change.
