Join us beginning October 29 as the Sumter County Gallery of Art welcomes two compelling exhibitions featuring Gerry Wubben and Brittany M. Watkins, on view through January 8, 2027.🎨 Gerry Wubben | Arabesque
Known for his monumental charcoal drawings and paintings, Wubben creates striking abstract works inspired by maps, science, geometry, mandalas, Islamic and Indian art, and even cosmic phenomena such as black holes and atomic structures. Now based in Greenville, SC, Wubben brings decades of experience as both an exhibiting artist and educator to this dynamic body of work.
🏠 Brittany M. Watkins | Stand Alon(g)
Columbia-based interdisciplinary artist Brittany M. Watkins creates immersive, large-scale installations exploring themes of home, memory, mental health, trauma, and the human experience. An artist, educator, gallery director, and community advocate, Watkins uses her work to create spaces for reflection, connection, and conversation.
