About this Event
This all-age workshop warmly invites anyone interested in craft projects to explore how to make twines from fabric scraps. Participants will learn hand-weaving techniques, including adding fabrics, in a friendly environment with their neighbors. The versatile twines can become wall art, coasters, jewelry, or gift ties. Come and create with us!
Fiber artist Tomo Mori will share her recent sculptures and stories to spark curiosity. Kids can enjoy braiding fabrics at hands-on stations, turning learning into a playful experience. They are free to use the materials to create something unique, making the workshop both fun and inspiring.
The softness of the fabric and the simple act of moving your hands can help ease stress and bring a sense of calm. What you learn in this workshop is something you can do at home without spending any money on materials. We all have old T-shirts you are about to toss.
