About this Event
Celebrate the Harvest Moon — A Timeless Autumn Tradition
Join us for an enchanting evening inspired by the Harvest Moon, the legendary full moon that for centuries marked the season of gathering, gratitude, and abundance. Historically, the Harvest Moon allowed farmers to work late into the evening by its golden glow, bringing in crops and celebrating the rewards of the year’s labor. Today, it remains a powerful symbol of prosperity, reflection, and connection.
This special event transforms the Chattanooga Choo Choo into a glowing twilight festival of autumn and moonlight, creating an atmosphere that is romantic, cozy, and beautifully cinematic. Soft lighting, lanterns, and warm seasonal décor will set the stage for an unforgettable night beneath the moon.
Vendors throughout the market will embrace the Harvest Moon theme with curated offerings such as moon-inspired jewelry, crystals, astrology art, candles, lunar prints, botanical creations, and handcrafted herbal teas, potions, and seasonal goods — all reflecting the mystery and beauty of this celestial celebration.
Guests are invited to enjoy Moonlight Tastings, featuring a thoughtful selection of craft beers, ciders, meads, wine, and specialty moon-themed cocktails, paired with grazing boards and artisanal cheese plates designed for strolling and sampling. Visitors may also bring food from the Chattanooga Choo Choo and Station Street restaurants to enjoy alongside their beverages, creating a seamless blend of local dining and festival atmosphere.
Be sure to capture the moment at our “Under the Harvest Moon” photo experience, a beautifully styled backdrop designed to preserve memories of this luminous evening.
This is more than a market — it is a celebration of history, harvest, and moonlit magic, bringing community, creativity, and the spirit of autumn together in one extraordinary night. 🌕✨
