🐢 Turtle Adoption Event — Home Before the Holidays!📅 Saturday, November 28, 2026
🕘 9 AM–12 PM
📍 Petco — 1935 S Koeller St, Oshkosh, WI 54902

This Thanksgiving weekend, help a turtle take the next step toward a lasting home! Join J&R Aquatic Animal Rescue for an event focused on the turtles still in our care.
Adoption fees for turtles will be waived at this event. In lieu of fees, we’re asking for donations to help keep the rescue afloat. Your support helps provide food, supplies, and daily care for animals waiting for homes.
We have taken in more than 200 animals across five groups: parakeets, turtles, bearded dragons, ball pythons, and leopard geckos. We’re working to find them homes before the holidays.
Turtles need a lasting commitment. Learn about the individual turtle’s species, adult size, and habitat needs before deciding to bring one into your life.
Comment with your questions, and check out our website for more details!
