About this Event
Have you ever thought, “I should do something with this recipe”? Maybe you have a family dish you love, a food tradition you want to share, a recipe people are always asking you about, or a food business idea you've been carrying around for years.
This workshop is an invitation to explore what that idea could become.
Sahar will share the story of how her mother’s recipes grew from a family tradition into a farmers market stand and eventually her successful restaurant, Koshari Mama, in Somerville MA. Her journey is a reminder that you don't have to start with a restaurant—or even have everything figured out. Sometimes you just have to start somewhere.
Together, we’ll explore:
- The story behind your food
- What your idea could become
- Finding your people
- Getting from “someday” to a first step
- Letting that idea evolve
Whether you're dreaming about sharing your family's recipes, starting something of your own, or simply curious about where a food idea might lead, come explore it together.
