About this Event
Ready to put down the little white book for good? Turning Path Tarot Level II takes you past the basics and into the parts of tarot that take you from getting acquainted to doing full readings: reversals, court cards, and larger spreads. Instead of memorizing 156 meanings that change from deck to deck, you'll learn the five basic categories of reversal and how to work them out from the upright meaning. You'll also meet all sixteen court cards three ways: as stages of growth, as significant people in the querent's life, and as elemental beings. The Turning Path method is deck-agnostic, built on a structured ladder of symbols, stories, and correspondences that works with any 78-card deck, so you can read with confidence and trust your own intuition.
The class also covers what it takes to read for other people: ethics, the limits of divination, checking in with your querent, and delivering hard news in a way that still helps. You'll work with larger spreads, learn what to do when cards seem to contradict each other, and leave with a five-step method for exploring any card's imagery. Class ends with optional practice readings and open Q&A with Lord Solinox Silverstar, The Confident Witch, a 3rd-degree WISE-ATC High Priestx. Level I is helpful but not required; if you can tell the Major Arcana from the Minor and name the four suits, you're ready. Bring your own deck or borrow one of ours. Queer, neurodivergent, disabled, and chronically ill folks are the norm here, and everyone is welcome.
