About this Event
Join Big Issue, Centrepoint, Crisis, Greater Change, Paula Barker MP (Chair of the APPG on Ending Homelessness), and Lodestone Communications for a Rally bringing together Labour MPs, homelessness organisations, campaigners and people working on the frontline to end homelessness.
With the Prime Minister’s first policy pledge being to end rough sleeping, there is a clear ambition from Government to tackle homelessness. But with an estimated one in 200 people experiencing homelessness, the scale of the challenge remains significant.
Turning Ambition Into Action – Ending Homelessness, Together will bring people together to demonstrate the strength of support for ending homelessness and build momentum behind the action needed to make that ambition a reality.
The Rally will provide an opportunity to:
- Hear from organisations and individuals working directly to tackle homelessness.
- Bring together Labour MPs, members and the homelessness sector around a shared ambition to end homelessness.
- Showcase the work already underway across the country.
- Build political momentum behind practical action to end rough sleeping and homelessness.
Whether you are a parliamentarian, campaigner, charity representative, policymaker or simply passionate about ending homelessness, we would be delighted to have you join us.
