LinkedIn has more than 1.3 billion members. Your next client could be on there, but simply having a profile and posting now and then won’t help them find you.
This one-day workshop will help you get clear on who you want to reach, improve how you show up, and use LinkedIn to build a pipeline of relevant prospects. You’ll leave with a practical approach you can put to work straight away.
In this full-day course, you’ll learn how to make your business and personal profile clear to the people you want to work with. We’ll cover what to post, how to find relevant prospects, and how to start conversations that could become leads, without paying for ads, spending hours scrolling, or sending pushy sales messages.
Agenda
MORNING SESSION
LinkedIn Profile Setup
Your profile should do some of the work before you ever start a conversation. We’ll make it clear who you help, what you offer, and why you’re worth talking to.
You’ll learn how to:
- Show your credibility without sounding like you’re pitching.
- Give the right people a reason to accept your connection request.
- Use clear wording so relevant people can find you and understand what you do.
Finding the Right People
A bigger network isn’t always a better one. We’ll show you how to find prospective clients and connect with people you actually want to work with.
You’ll learn how to:
- Search for your ideal clients using LinkedIn’s free and Premium tools.
- Use Boolean search to narrow down your results.
- Send connection requests that people have a reason to accept.
Turning Connections Into Conversations
A new connection isn’t a lead. We’ll look at how to stay in touch, recognise when someone may need what you offer, and suggest a conversation without sounding like you’ve copied and pasted the same pitch to 100 people.
You’ll learn how to:
- Build familiarity before asking for a meeting.
- Keep track of prospects and conversations on LinkedIn.
- Create a weekly routine to book relevant meetings.
LinkedIn Outreach Best Practices
Most people can spot a copy-and-paste sales message a mile off. We’ll look at when a DM makes sense, what to say and how to give someone a reason to reply.
You’ll learn how to:
- Write a message that’s relevant and easy to answer.
- Use three types of DM to start different kinds of conversations.
- Choose when to send or follow up based on the person and the context.
AI Tools That Save You Time
There are useful tools for finding prospects and preparing for conversations. We’ll look at LinkedIn’s features, free resources, and where AI can help, without sending messages that sound like a machine wrote them.
You’ll learn how to:
- Use free and paid tools to find people worth talking to.
- Spot useful clues in a prospect’s profile and activity.
- Use AI for research and preparation while keeping your own voice.
AFTERNOON SESSION
Make Your Company Page Worth Visiting
Your personal profile may start the conversation. Your company page should help someone understand the business behind you. We’ll look at how the two work together and how to make your page useful to prospective clients.
You’ll learn how to:
- Make it clear what your company does and where visitors can go next.
- Use your profile and company page together to build credibility.
- Attract followers who are relevant to your business.
- Use LinkedIn’s page tools to stay visible and encourage engagement.
Creating Content People Actually Want to Read
You don’t need to post every day or pretend to be a thought leader. You need content that helps the right people understand what you do, trust your judgment, and see a reason to talk to you.
You’ll learn how to:
- Understand what affects the reach of your LinkedIn posts.
- Write posts that get attention from relevant people.
- Use four types of content without running out of things to say.
- Use AI to save time without publishing AI slop.
- Give interested readers a clear next step.
Generating Leads Without Ads
Likes are nice. A pipeline is better. We’ll look at how to use your content and LinkedIn’s own features to get in front of prospective clients and give them a reason to contact you.
You’ll learn how to:
- Use LinkedIn Events to meet relevant prospects and follow up.
- Build a newsletter that keeps you in front of the right people.
- Create content that can bring enquiries to you.
- Put four practical ways of finding leads into your weekly routine.
