Mosaic lamps have lit homes and bazaars across Turkey for generations, and in this hands-on Turkish mosaic lamp workshop in Atlanta, you get to make one yourself. No art background needed. After a quick look at traditional Turkish designs, you'll choose from ready-made templates and gather the colors you want to work with. From there, it's hands-on: placing glass tiles and beads one at a time, with your instructor nearby to help with pattern ideas and technique. Complimentary Turkish coffee and baklava are served while you work, so the session feels relaxed and social. You're also welcome to bring your own drinks.
