About this Event
In this broom-making workshop, we'll create two turkey wing hand brooms (small handheld brooms - no long handle). We'll start with a guided, step-by-step broom made together so you learn the technique and get comfortable with the materials.
Then you'll make a second broom with lighter guidance, giving you room to plan your design, refine your wrap, and personalize it with dried/faux florals and charms. By the end, you'll understand how you got there - so you can repeat the process at home or experiment with other materials!
**Please note that you should attend this session with closed footwear and socks as we'll be using a wooden foot brake to make these brooms.
**Also, we'll be holding the broom tight with waxed thread the entire process of making the broom, so strong hand dexterityis required.
