Before anything else, there was earth, breath, and the mountains that shaped us.
In Andean cosmology, the spiral is sacred. Life doesn't move in a straight line, it moves upward, circling back to where it began, each time a little higher, a little wiser. The Inca and their living legacy, the Q'ero people, call this Pachakuti: the turning over of an age, a return that is also a rebirth. 🏔️
That's the shape of this show.
ROOT — Andina. We begin where the songs began: earth, breath, the first spark. The ancestral pulse that runs under everything Turiya plays. Yenny Farias (@yennyfariasmusic) opens this space, bringing her own music and her connection to Andean roots to ground the evening from the very first note.
CONTINUITY. We carry that root forward: new songs built on old foundations, the thread that doesn't break even as everything around it changes. Trevor Uruski (@trevoruruski) carries us through this stretch with sacred didgeridoo, percussion, and soundscape, weaving an atmosphere that bridges what came before with what's still unfolding.
RECONNECTION. We come back together (band, room, spirit) in one circle, closing where we started but not the same as when we began. Turiya takes the stage to bring it all home: old songs you already love, brand new ones we can't wait to share, and a chance for all of us to sing, move, and open our hearts together as one. 🎤 Alexis Quinn (@luminasoundwellness) joins us on supporting vocals for a number of songs in the set, her angelic voice lifting the music into something even more heavenly.
🎶 Blending soulful acoustic music, uplifting rhythms, and conscious lyrics inspired by artists like Xavier Rudd (@xavierruddofficial) and Trevor Hall (@trevorhallmusic), Turiya makes music meant to be felt, not just heard.
You'll hear the songs you already love. You'll hear brand new ones for the very first time. And you'll be invited, however that looks for you, to sing, move, sit still, or simply feel.
