TULUA, meaning ‘tribe of many paths’, are a young traditional Irish band hailing from Carrig on Bannow in the southeast of Ireland. The group transports their audiences along a captivating journey of songs about love, tunes about life and everything in between. Their rooted passion for playing music evolved together from a young age, and they now wholeheartedly explore the possibilities with their music creating a sound unique to the group.
The Irish Independent called them ‘one of the hottest young prospects in traditional Irish music’.
The band formed in 2020, and released an EP and then waited several years before producing their first album, which they toured in Ireland and the USA.
Since their debut album (2023), they have toured in countries around the world (Ireland, Canada, Australia, Germany, Netherlands, France, USA). They were official showcase artists at the 2025 Folk Alliance International Conference in Montreal, have been part of many renowned festivals and projects including the Stan Rogers Festival, Milwaukee Irish Fest, Lorient Festival in Brittany France, National Celtic Folk Festival in Australia, Creative Ireland Projects and have performed extensively in The National Opera House of Ireland
