Tucked in Love – A Kinusaiga Art Experience
Love shows up in many ways. In the people we care about, the places that feel like home, the moments we share, and sometimes in the smallest things that simply make us happy.
Tucked in Love is a cosy Kinusaiga art experience celebrating love in all its forms... for family, a partner, a friend, a pet, a place, yourself, or simply something in life that you hold close.
Kinusaiga is a Japanese-inspired textile art technique where pieces of fabric are carefully tucked into grooves to form a beautiful textured artwork. No sewing required.
Choose from a selection of prepared designs, play with colours and fabrics, and slowly build your own Kinusaiga artwork, finished in a wooden display frame ready to bring home.
Make it personal
Fabrics will be provided, but you're also welcome to bring a small piece of your own meaningful fabric.
It could be from an old piece of clothing, a favourite print, fabric from a special occasion, or simply something that reminds you of someone or something you love. Just make sure it's something you're comfortable cutting and incorporating permanently into your artwork.
What’s included
All art materials, your choice of prepared design, use of tools, a wooden display frame, one drink, and a guided 3-hour Kinusaiga experience.
No art experience is needed.
Just come, choose your fabrics and create at your own pace.
The session is intentionally kept small and cosy, allowing plenty of time for individual guidance and conversation.
At the end of the session, participants are welcome to share the meaning or story behind their artwork, if they wish. Sharing is completely optional.
You may also simply create, connect and enjoy the experience in your own way.
