🎣 TRY FLY FISHING THIS AUTUMN 🍂UK Fishing School is pleased to be supporting Norfolk Flyfishers’ Club with their Get Fly Fishing events this autumn, supported by Angling Trust Get Fishing.
Fly fishing can be a brilliant fit for modern, busy life. There’s no bait to worry about, you only need a small amount of tackle, and modern fly fishing gear packs down small enough to live in the boot of the car.
And you don’t need a whole day.
A couple of hours beside the water can be enough to switch off, enjoy the outdoors and become the ultimate hunter-gatherer – with the chance of catching the family’s tea!
Dropped the kids at football on a Saturday morning? Rather than standing around for a couple of hours, this could be your new escape. 🎣
But these sessions are about much more than simply catching a trout.
You’ll:
🪰 Discover the insect and aquatic life that supports this fascinating ecosystem
🎣 Learn the basics of fly fishing with experienced anglers
🧵 Watch flies being tied during live demonstrations
🐟 Spend time actually fishing for rainbow trout
🍽️ Learn how to prepare and cook your catch for a delicious meal at home
All tackle is provided, your Environment Agency licence is included, and there are even hot drinks, cakes and biscuits.
