Join us for an evening of community, remembrance, and family fun at Chapel of the Light.This Fall season, we’re inviting our community to a family-friendly Trunk-or-Treat where children can dress up, enjoy some candy, and families can come together in a safe and welcoming environment.
We will also be creating a Community Ofrenda to honor and remember the loved ones who are no longer with us. If you’d like to memorialize someone special, you’re welcome to bring a photograph with you or email a photo to us ahead of time so that we can have it printed and present. Their memory can become part of this special gathering.
We want this to be a place where our community can gather, share stories, remember those we’ve lost, fellowship with one another, and make new memories together.
Just a few notes:
For everyone’s safety and to preserve the peaceful environment of the cemetery, the cemetery grounds will be closed to visitors during the event. If you’d like to visit a loved one’s resting place, please plan to do so before 5:00 PM.
The Trunk-or-Treat and Community Ofrenda will take place in the designated event area, separate from the cemetery grounds.
After the event, the Community Ofrenda will be moved inside our mausoleum so that it can remain a place of remembrance beyond the evening.
We invite you to come as you are—bring your family and friends, bring your stories, bring a photograph of someone you love, and come spend an evening with your community.
Chapel of the Light is honored to be a place where our community can come together—not only in times of loss, but in life, remembrance, and fellowship.
