Join Girl Scout Troop 1300 in celebrating Halloween with our annual Trunk or Treat! It's more fun with as many vehicles participating as possible, so consider being a part of the fun and decorating your trunk and handing out some goodies. (Candy isn't the only option, we've had families hand out mandarins, stickers, jelly bracelets, etc.)Even if you don't have kids that will be participating, this is a fun way to be a part of the community and make this an even more exciting event for the kiddos participating!
All ages are welcome, costumes are great but not required. There will be a costume contest and trunk contest! The scouts of Troop 1300 put together games and crafts and activities to do once the trunk or treating is done, too! We hope to see you there!
Girl Scout Troop is a LGBTQIA+ welcoming, neurodivergent friendly, income diverse accommodating, and and try to make all of what we do as inclusive to disabled youth and their adults. We are seeking interested youth in grades 6-12 who fall under the categories of cis girl, trans girl or non binary kiddo.
Our troop is scout led, with meetings typically once a month, and tend to gravitate to creative forms of expression instead of being badge and fundraising centered. We welcome you to come check out our troop and see if it might be a good fit for your 6th-12th grader.
