True North Puzzle Event- Kanata Puzzle Day

This Puzzle Day has been designed with beginners in mind, with puzzles specially selected to give new puzzlers the best possible chance of finishing and enjoying the experience. Experienced puzzlers are absolutely welcome too, come along, challenge yourself and see if you can set a new personal best!

We won’t be announcing the puzzle brands ahead of time, but you can expect a fun mixture of brands and puzzle styles throughout the day.

True North Puzzle Events will be hosting events in both Kanata and Calgary on the same day. Since Calgary is in a different time zone, the events will feature different puzzles!

There will be the following prizes in each competition, and draws for the logic puzzling.

• Top Finisher in each event

• Fastest Newbie for each event

• Mystery Time A random finish time will be generated after the competition, and the prize goes to the puzzler whose finish time is closest to the mystery time (over or under just closest)

• 2 Random prize draws during each event

For full-day ticket holders, lunch (selection of sandwiches/wraps or similar) and an afternoon snack are included, making it an easy, all-in-one day of puzzling and social fun. Tickets are also available for individual events (lunch is also included for those registering for the individual event). 1 ticket required per puzzler per event (except for the full day ticket which includes all events).

We’ll also have a casual puzzling and logic puzzle area open all day, so you can drop in between events and enjoy something a little more relaxed. The day will be a great mix of competition, casual puzzling, and logic challenges to keep things fresh.

Each puzzler will need their own ticket. It’s easiest to register as a team, but if you’re purchasing separately just include your teammates’ names in the order form so I can place everyone correctly. Don’t have a full team? No problem — I’ll match you up with fellow puzzlers. The order form will ask for 4 puzzlers names and addresses regardless fo how many tickets you purchase - just put NA in the other spots if you're registering for less than 4.

Registration is open 30 mins before each event - but you can come earlier and make use of the social puzzling area and get registered in advance.
