So excited to have Troy Mercy, Blues Unusualist, playing BRAVE NEW BLUES back in the FrontRoom !LISTEN & GET the song: Click the link in bio @troymercymusic
“Traveling Light” is the first single from @troymercymusic debut record with @gitcharecords , "Let The Night Begin”, produced by @tcarmandrums (of @parlorgreens )
You can also head over to @thefirenote for the premiere of the wicked awesome music video directed by @sunny.skye.productions and @cassie_izzy_photography
"Traveling Light” is a heroic dose of the ecstatic feeling of freedom found in new beginnings. Troy’s throbbing, fuzzed-out electric guitar riffs fly fast and recklessly around his thrilling vocalizing throughout this jolt of his own Brave New Blues. Mr. Mercy’s chosen delivery system here is the Power Duo format he favors live these days. @harrisonfotidrums on drums drives the vehicle like Dean Moriarty on little white pills and Thunderbird wine. “Electric guitar, a singer with records by Ray Charles and Iggy Pop, some feral creature on the drums, and general attitude of ‘Oh, yeah are you gonna stop me?’ is just about all you need to conjure up that ethereal goddess we call Rock & Roll.”, proclaims Troy Mercy, Booker T’s former guitarist. Let go of those things you no longer need. Run and howl at the moon in the summer midnight...
