Raised between New York and Belgium, and the daughter of Chris Whitley, music has always been at the core. From early drumming to DJing in Berlin and touring with Black Dub, her path has never been linear, but always deeply personal.
With Folded Time, Whitley returns to an intuitive way of working. Playing drums, bass, guitar and piano herself, she builds songs that feel layered but immediate. The result is a sound that balances fragility and strength without overcomplicating either.
