Kurrypinch was founded to share the rich flavors, traditions, and hospitality of Sri Lanka with Los Angeles. Chef G (Shaheen Ghazaly) draws inspiration from family recipes, vibrant street food, and the comforting meals that unite people.
Chef G grew up in Sri Lanka and developed a deep appreciation for the island’s diverse culinary heritage, where fresh ingredients, handcrafted spice blends, and coconut milk create bold, comforting dishes. This passion inspired Kurrypinch, where a staple of Sri Lankan cuisine is honored with a modern approach.
