About this Event
The Positive Parenting Program is for parents and caregivers of children ages 0–12 who want guidance on supporting their child’s growth. You’ll get practical ideas, connect with other parents, and get support with parenting challenges. Each session runs about 60 minutes plus 30 minutes for questions. All sessions are free.
Seminar 1 topics include how to:
- Have a loving, safe and interesting environment.
- Have a positive learning environment.
- Use assertive discipline.
- Have realistic expectations.
- Take care of yourself as a parent.
There’s no one-size-fits-all approach to parenting. We share straightforward, real-world strategies you can shape around your family’s unique values and needs. When families thrive, kids do too.
To register, please select the total number of free tickets for all people attending, including yourself, any support people and any children. Our physical space is limited, so we rely on accurate numbers to help make sure everyone attending has a seat.
Incentives, including gift cards, are available after attending two classes. (*While supplies last, for Franklin County residents only.)
